Lisa Bonet’s Return to TV Was An ‘Intense Decision’ & She Feels Like She’s Being ‘Stalked’

Lisa Bonet, who reluctantly returned to primetime in the ABC drama Life on Mars, says it took a lot out of the painfully “shy” actress, according to People magazine.

“To have my face reinstated in minds and homes once a week was an intense decision,” says the 41-year-old former Cosby Show star.

Bonet says she feels like she’s being “stalked” by paparazzi, who’re documenting her family life with actor Jason Momoa, with whom she has a 16-month-old daughter Lola and is expecting another child in January.

“As a shy person, that type of attention coming at me violates something,” she tells the magazine. “I don’t like that it’s expected to come with the territory.”

Lisa Bonet & Jason Momoa Expecting Their Second Baby Together

Lisa Bonet and boyfriend, actor Jason Momoa, are expecting their second child together, according to PEOPLE.com.

“I’m seven months and I feel great,” Bonet, who recently made her TV return to ABC’s Life on Mars, says. “I’ve had a tremendous amount of energy, which is lucky, because I have a 14-month-old.”

That 14-month-old is daughter Lola–her first child with the Stargate Atlantis hunk.

Of her baby’s gender, Bonet, who also has another daughter, Zoe Kravitz with rocker Lenny Kravitz, tells PEOPLE.com, “I love the mystery and I trust the mystery about it. It adds a whole other component at the end.”

Ga Ga: Jason Momoa of Stargate Atlantis (and Lisa Bonet) Fame

The recent reemergence of Lisa Bonet in entertainment has brought our attention to Jason Momoa, the strikingly handsome man she has been seen strolling around with.

Born Joseph Jason Namakaeha Momoa, this 6’4″ Hawaii native is a regular on Stargate Atlantis and touts the shows Baywatch (2003) and North Shore (2004-2005), and the film Johnson Family Vacation (2004) on his resume.

Despite such a short resume, Momoa boasts countless fansites and blogs with forums discussing everything from his dreadlocks (which he cut due to the strain it caused on his neck and he now wears a dread-wig for Atlantis) to his new baby Lola Lolani with Lisa Bonet. There’s also a site where Momoa fans can purchase mugs and t-shirts!

Previously engaged to actress Jade McKinnon, the 29-year-old actor is 11 years younger than girlfriend Bonet (go Lisa!) and together they make Brad and Angelina look downright homely. They’re also our new (ethnic) Bruce and Demi after Lenny Kravitz joined them and their baby at a dinner last year to celebrate Bonet’s birthday.

Blindie is ga ga for Jason Momoa, his relationship with Lisa Bonet and their daughter Lola Iolani (although Zoe Kravitz still has our hearts!)

Lisa Bonet Returns To Television ‘On Mars’

First it was JCPenney’s Breakfast Club commercial and then George Michael’s comeback concert and now Lisa Bonet back on television!

The ex-Cosby kid is making her return to the small screen on the ABC cop drama, Life On Mars, playing Maya Daniels, the girlfriend of Jason O’Mara’s time-traveling character Sam Tyler.

After virtually disappearing from TV in the early 1990s, Bonet left a void in Blindie’s heart that could not be filled with her occasional paltry film roles in Enemy of the State (1998), High Fidelity (2000 ) and Biker Boyz (2003). We yearned for more of the free-spirited Denise Huxtable we fell in love with on The Cosby Show and the sultry Epiphany Proudfoot that scandalized us in Angel Heart.

Blindie followed her private life, rooting for her marriage with the equally free-spirited and sultry Lenny Kravitz and really wanted to believe Lenny when he sang “it ain’t over till it’s over.” Blindie’s even begun idolizing her look-alike daughter Zoe Kravitz!

So we’re pretty much besides ourselves that Bonet, who now calls herself Lilakoi Moon (and whose real name is actually Lisa Michelle Boney), can be seen around New York filming scenes for Life On Mars and strolling with her boyfriend Jason Momoa, of Stargate Atlantis, and their daughter Lola Iolani.

Our Favorite ’80s Teen Queen (Next to Lisa Bonet) is Back!

When she turned toward the camera and delivered the line, “They f–king forgot my birthday,” in 1984’s Sixteen Candles, Molly Ringwald had our heart. Yes, we obsessed over Lisa Bonet’s style and sass on The Cosby Show, but it was Ringwald who was the every-girl you cheered for.

Now 40, the freckled face of ’80s teen angst is starring as a mom in ABC Family’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager. Yes, it’s a far cry from her days as the It Girl of eclectic, vintage fashion.

“I never thought of myself as a style icon,” Ringwald told the Los Angeles Times. “I wore all that vintage because my parents kept me on an allowance, and so I shopped on Melrose. My style was based on necessity.”

As for Sixteen Candles? “I think that Sixteen Candles lends itself to [another film],” she says of a possible sequel. “It was such a Cinderella story. And I was interested to see what happened to this girl.”

We’re crossing our fingers!!!
