Lindsay Lohan Thrilled About Our ‘First Colored President’

In an insightful interview with Access Hollywood’s Maria Menounos, Lindsay Lohan shows her true colors as she talks about what an “amazing feeling” it is to have Barack Obama as our “first colored President.”

Lohan did not mention whether she actually voted and refused to publicly take a position on California’s Proposition 8, which eliminated the right for same-sex couples to marry, even though she has been linked in the press to a romantic relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson.

Considering Lohan still refers to African Americans in the outdated, pre-civil rights term “colored,” Blindie is wondering what she calls those same-sex couples.

John McCain’s Veep Choice: A Tactical Distraction or Complete Oversight?

On the surface, Senator John McCain’s vice presidential choice of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, 44, seemed like an obvious decision: she was young, attractive, female and inexperienced, and seemed to have those qualities that would rival Barack Obama.

But with all of Palin’s skeletons running out of the closet, it seemed the 72-year-old war vet and seasoned Washington politico had actually lost his damn marbles!

As we all know, Republicans have a track record of winning elections–even at the price of risking their candidates’ credibility. Remember, even Dubya won TWO presidential elections!

Last week, Obama was on top of the world: He made history as the first African American presidential nominee, gave a goosebump-inducing speech, and got tough with McCain.

BUT once McCain announced Palin as his VP pick, Obama’s spotlight faded…and guess who took center stage? Sarah Palin!

With her Miss America good looks, down syndrome baby, pro-life speak and teen daughter Bristol’s pregnancy, Palin beamed in the spotlight–and it seemed the Republicans and McCain made the most tactical choice: PULLING the media’s glare away from Obama, and turning the focus onto McCain’s unknown, headline-drawing VP pick.

Even pop tart Lindsay Lohan felt distracted by Sarah Palin’s teenage baby woes, writing on her MySpace blog:

“I am concerned with the fact that Sarah Palin brought the attention to her daughter’s pregnancy, rather than all world issues and what she believes she could possibly do to change them – if elected. I get Sarah Palin’s views against abortion, but i would much prefer to hear more about what she can do for our country rather than how her daughter is going to have a child no matter what.”

But what worries Blindie is this: Say the Republicans win this election and McCain happens to pass away during his first term (remember: he is in his 70s!), do we really want Palin and her baggage in the White House?!
