Watch Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland Trailer

Tim Burton’s adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s classic novel Alice in Wonderland is fantastical, creepy and downright nightmarish …and we love it!

Newcomer Mia Wasikowska stars as as the young Alice returning to her adventures after a decade alongside Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter as the evil Red Queen, Anne Hathaway as the White Queen, and Little Britain‘s Matt Lucas as both Tweedledum and Tweedledee.

The film is due to be released in March 2010 and will be shown in 3D.

Will Smith Beats Out Johnny Depp & Tom Cruise For 2008 Top Money Making Movie Star Title

Will Smith was voted the top earning star of 2008 in the Quigley Publishing Company’s 77th annual Top Ten Money Making Stars poll.

The Seven Pounds star beat out last year’s top Money Maker Johnny Depp and seven-time winner Tom Cruise, who both did not make the list this year. Smith is only the second African American to hold the title after Sidney Poitier nabbed the spot in 1968 following the success of the films Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner and In the Heat of the Night.

Robert Downey Jr., Christian Bale and Shia LaBeouf all made debut appearances on the list in second, third, and fourth places respectively.

The Quigley poll is conducted by the publishers of the International Motion Picture Almanac and surveys movie theater owners and film buyers to vote for the 10 stars they believe generated the most box office revenue for their theaters during the year.

Eddie Murphy As The Riddler In The Next Batman Movie?

British tabloid The Sun has raised the ire of Batman fans with news that Eddie Murphy will play the Riddler in the next installment of the comic book blockbuster due in 2010.

While Eddie Murphy’s rep denied the Riddler rumour to Access Hollywood, The Sun is also reporting that Shia LaBeouf will be sidekicking it as Robin and Rachel Weisz will play Catwoman.

Some are dismissing Murphy in the Riddler role as rumour but, considering The Sun accurately reported that Daniel Craig would be the next Bond, fans should get used to the idea of the Norbit star moving into the Gotham neighborhood.

Blindie wishes the early rumours of Johnny Depp as the Riddler and Angelina Jolie as Catwoman were true.
