According to biographer Ian Halperin, Michael Jackson is gravely ill and suffering from emphysema, chronic gastrointestinal bleeding as well as a life-threatening lung condition.
Halperin, who has just finished a book about the pop star, says Jackson developed an alpha-1 anti-trypsin deficiency and told The Sun that he “needs a lung transplant, but may be too weak to go through with it.”
“He can barely speak. The vision in his left eye is 95 per cent gone.” Halperin also said.
Jackson’s older brother Jermaine confirmed to the paper “He’s not doing so well right now. This isn’t a good time.”
