It seems the mainstream media didn’t pick up on this gem of a quote from country music singer Toby Keith as he ruminated on the racial characteristics of Barack Obama. Thanks to YouTube, Blindie got it!
Last week, Keith was a guest on the the Glenn Beck radio show (dubbed “The third most listened to program in all of America”), where he said of Senator Obama:
I think that the black people would say, he don’t talk, act, or carry himself as a black person…I’m saying that’s what I think that they would say. Even though the black society would pull for him, I still think that they think in the back of their mind that the only reason that he is in is because he talks, acts and carries himself as a Caucasian.
This is the same misguided singer who recorded a “patriotic” song in response to 9/11, “Courtesy of the Red, White, & Blue (The Angry American)” in 2002, and feuded with the Dixie Chicks over their opinions about President George W.
