Women’s Health has revealed Michelle Obama‘s secrets for sculpting her bionic, headline-grabbing arms.
For the first time the First Lady’s personal trainer Cornell McClellan has detailed their regimen, which he says he’s put Obama through since 1997, starting at 5:30 a.m.
“She’s truly committed herself to the importance of health and fitness,” McClellan says. “I believe the purpose of training is to tighten up the slack, toughen the body, and polish the spirit. To do that, we take a holistic approach that includes strength, cardiovascular, and flexibility training.”
Chris Brown sat down for his first interview which aired Wednesday on CNN with his mother and attorney on Larry King Live, where he refuses to detail what led to his beating Rihanna, but says he’s “disappointed” in himself.
“I’m in shock, because, first of all, that’s not who I am as a person, and that’s not who I promise I want to be,” the 20-year-old singer, who was sentenced to five years probation and six months of community labor, said.
“I just don’t know what to think. I’m just like, wow,” Brown said. “It’s crazy to me.”
The Tyra Banks Show took home its second Daytime Emmy for outstanding informative talk show at Sunday’s 36th annual Daytime Emmys Awards.
It was only last year that the newbie talk show host, who told the world to “Kiss my fat ass!” won her first Emmy.
“You’ve got to move and I’ve totally redone my show from skin and guts — how it looks, feels all the way down to content, because of the changing generation,” Banks said.
At the podium, the model mogul gushed, “I love daytime television. I learned the birds and the bees from watching [General Hospital’s] Luke and Laura. I learned my ABCs, 1-2-3 from Sesame Street. This [Emmy] is for the women out there that do not feel beautiful … that do not have time to do their makeup … This is for you guys.”
Chris Rock takes a candid look at the world and business of black hair in his documentary Good Hair.
With celebrities like Kerry Washington, Nia Long, Paul Mooney, Megan Good, Raven Symoné, Maya Angelou, and Reverend Al Sharpton offering their views on ‘good hair’ via relaxers and weaves, the film looks like it’s bringing the LOLs!
Blindie especially likes the discussion on weave sex by Nia Long, and you can never fail with Mr. Mooney’s deadpan delivery (while rocking an super-sized afro wig): “If your hair is relaxed, white people are relaxed…if your hair is nappy, they’re not happy!”
