M.I.A. is denying rumors she has named her new baby boy “Ickitt” as previously reported by Latina.com. The colorful singer whose real name is Mathangi Arulpragasam addressed the growing rumors on her Myspace blog, the same place she announced the arrival of her child.

MY BABY IS NOT CALLED ICKITT, PICKIT OR LICKIT THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO ALL THE HOLLYWOOD PRESS. HES A BABY , HE DONT NEED PRESS! I DIDNT RELEASE THE BABY NAME BECAUSE I DIDNT THINK IT WAS NEWS!!!! BUT I WILL BE BACK WITH SOMETHING NEWS WORTHY SOON.

The outspoken singer then took a dig at a few other questionable and quirky baby names from the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow, Woody Allen and Frank Zappa saying, “TILL THEN GO PICK ON APPLE, SATCHEL AND MOON UNIT. LOTS OF LOVE STICKIT!!”

Hi. I just noticed that your site looks like it has a few code problems at the very top of your site’s page. I’m not sure if everybody is getting this same error when browsing your website? I am employing a totally different browser than most people, referred to as Opera, so that is what might be causing it? I just wanted to make sure you know. Thanks for posting some great postings and I’ll try to return back with a completely different browser to check things out! London,UK
