Mattel, makers of the Barbie doll, is producing a set of Barbies featuring Zoe Saldana as Uhura in Star Trek!

The action figures, which also include Ken replicas of Chris Pine as Kirk and Zachary Quinto as Spock, will be sure-fire collect collectors items!

Of Saldana’s performance, which includes a highly-anticipated topless scene, director J.J Abrams recently said, “She’s awesome in the movie. She’s fantastic. She’s always a genius.”

The Star Trek dolls will be available in April and will retail for $45. The upcoming blockbuster hits theaters in May.

The upcoming biopic, which chronicles the life and death of Notorious B.I.G. (a.k.a. Christopher Wallace), stars Angela Bassett as Biggie’s mother Voletta Wallace, Derek Luke as Sean “Diddy” Combs, Anthony Mackie as Tupac Shakur, and unknown actor Jamal Woolard as The Notorious B.I.G.

The highly-anticipated film hits theaters on January 16.

Lisa Bonet and boyfriend Jason Momoa welcomed a baby boy on December 15, according to French Tele7.

This is the third child for Bonet, 41, who has 16-month-old daughter Lola Iolani with Momoa, and another daughter, 20 year-old Zoe Kravitz, with ex-husband Lenny Kravitz.

The former Cosby kid recently returned to television on the ABC drama Life on Mars.

Juilliard-trained actor Anthony Mackie, who plays late rapper Tupac Shakur in the upcoming biopic Notorious (out January 16), is featured in Glamour magazine, where he talks about his high-profile role, what he loves on a woman, and how he rekindled his romance with his elementary school love!

On what he learned from playing Tupac: That you really have to hold those people who are important to you near and dear, because you never know when things will turn south.

Of his current girlfriend: I’m dating my third-grade girlfriend again. I was in New Orleans, heard somebody call my name, turned around and was like, This is the girl who used to beat me up for my lunch money, but now she’s so cute!

On what he loves to see a women wear: If there is a God, he made the sundress. It’s the most complimentary thing. And if it stops at the knee? Aww, it’s Christmas!

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria covers the February 2009 “Extra-Hot Guy Issue” of Glamour, where she dishes on her hubby Tony Parker, her bestie Mario Lopez and what she did on election night!

“My best friend, Mario [Lopez], my girlfriends and I were watching at home,” she told the magazine. “I campaigned for Barack Obama with Latinos in Colorado, New Mexico and Texas. When they declared him the winner, I was overwhelmed with joy.”

As for her relationship with her basketball playing husband, she said, “Tony [Parker] and I would love to be together forever. But the only way you get to forever is one day at a time.”

Adding of her roles in their marriage, “I’m the gardener. I definitely nurture. [My husband] is the flower. But there are times when Tony takes care of me—in an emotional sense, like, OK, let me take the reins on this one. But I love to take care of him. I’m really a very fifties housewife.”

The Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta was gifted with $365,000 from media mogul Oprah Winfrey last week.

When asked by Clark how she arrived at the denomination of the donation Oprah reportedly told him, “I’m sending $1,000 for every day of the year.”

The Academy made headlines last year when it’s middle schoolers sang their political song “You Can Vote However You Like” at the Coca-Cola Leadership Summit in Atlanta and subsequently performed on various news shows. The song, a remake of rapper T.I.’s hit song “Whatever You Like,” encouraged voter participation in the 2008 presidential election by offering both Democratic and Republican viewpoints

Clark, who has taught schools in rural North Carolina as well as a New York’s inner-city, opened the Academy in mid 2007 in Atlanta using funds from the sales of his two books The Essential 55 and The Excellent 11 and donations. He received the 2001 Disney Teacher of the Year award, appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show twice and has been recognized for his use of music and dance in his teaching methodology. His story was made into a television movie in 2006 with Matthew Perry in the starring role.
