ObamaNation: A Large Portion of Blacks Are Voting Early
African-Americans are turning out in disproportionate numbers to vote early, according to the Wall Street Journal.
In Georgia alone, black voters have made up nearly 36% of about 758,000 early voters. By comparison, African-Americans represented 25% of the overall turnout in 2004.
“We gonna have two little black girls in the White House running up and down the hallways to find their dog,” Obama supporter and early voter Lorene Smith told the paper, alluding to Malia and Sasha’s hope of getting a dog when they move to the White House.
