Jourdan Dunn: ‘I Would Like To Be More Womanly, Like Beyoncé’

British supermodel-in-training Jourdan Dunn gives the Times Online a great window into her psyche–not only does she wish that the use of black models go beyond “this season,” but her body had a little more jelly!

“I’m not comfortable with my weight,” she says. “I would like to be more womanly, like Beyoncé. In the black community, it’s all about having a big bum. Not everyone wants to be skinny.”

The 18-year-old beauty also reveals her childhood dreams: “When I was younger, I wanted to be famous. My life was a role in my own soap opera and the mirror was my camera. But nobody criticised me in Jourdan’s world. That’s not reality.”

PHOTO SPECIAL: Erykah Badu Plays Austin City Limits And Wii Music

Neo-soul singer Erykah Badu performed at the annual Austin City Limits three-day Concert on Saturday in Zilker Park.

The visibly pregnant soul singer let her hair down just like in her fro-tastic Tom Ford fragrance ad and kept it natural while playing the yet-to-be released Wii Music.

Blindie thinks she may have kept things a little too natural.

Olympic Swimmer Cullen Jones Wins Annual USA Swimming Award

Olympic gold medalist Cullen Jones was awarded a prestigious USA Swimming Award, which recognizes exceptional contributions to swimming, this weekend.

Jones, who won his gold medal as part of the men’s world record-setting 4x100m relay team in August, was given the Diversity Inclusion Award for heightening the “awareness of inclusion efforts resulting in the increase and successful participation of underrepresented groups in the sport.”

The New Jersey native, who has helped spread swimming to minorities with the Make a Splash Foundation, told the Today Show, “I know there’s a big stigma — in the U.S. black people don’t swim. But if you go to the Caribbean, it’s unheard of for people not to know how to swim. If you go to Africa, black people do know how to swim. But it’s just a big stereotype here. And that’s one thing that I want to work and change.”

Ethnicity Revealed: Jessica Szhor, Vanessa Hudgens And Many Others

What’s their ethnicity? It’s the question on everyone’s mind and Blindie has done a little racial profiling to satisfy your inquiring minds.

Here is the racial scoop on the most ambiguous ethnic people in Hollywood:

Jessica Szohr: Gossip Girl‘s not-so-rich gal pal had us all guessing when she kept offering up ethnic delights from pierogies to souvlaki on the show. The real deal is that Szohr boasts a mix of African American, Caucasian, and Hungarian.

Vanessa Hudgens: The High School Musical triple threat touts a mother of Filipino descent and a father of Irish and Native American heritage.

Nicole Scherzinger: The Pussycat Doll was born in Hawaii to a Filipino father and a Hawaiian/Russian mother.

Fred Armisen: Saturday Night Live‘s funnyman may play African American presidential candidate Barack Obama in skits but he actually lays claim to German, Japanese and Venezualan heritage.

Gabrielle Reece: The statuesque volleyball beauty owes her beach affinity to her island roots. She was born to a Trinidadian father and a white mother on the island of Trinidad and raised in the Virgin Islands.

Cassie: The model turned Bad Boy recording artist has a Filipino father and a mother of West Indian, African American and Mexican descent.
