1A22A6981A22A699 Photo: Sara Jaye Weiss Tennis pros James Blake and Venus Williams were among the celebs at Heineken's USTA US Open Official Player Party at Skyline Studios in New York on Friday. Proving to be a party early bird, Blake was there before the action was in full swing and we even spied him making a beeline for the door way before midnight. Gossip Girl's Penn Badgely and Matthew Settle and stylist Keino Benjamin were among the non-tennis revelers, but sadly Blake Lively sat this one out. Noticeably missing from the party was Venus' other and arguably better half Serena Williams and French player Jo-Wilfried Tsonga. Ok, so maybe only we were looking for Tsonga. But conspicuously present was Vince Offer, the ShamWow pitchman, who played Wii Tennis with his date.

Williams Vs. Williams: Wimbledon Part III

Who should you place your bets on when Serena and Venus Williams go head to head at the Wimbledon final on Saturday? Let's take a look at the necessary (and unnecessary) stats of these dueling sisters: Serena has beat her older sister in the 2002 and 2003 Wimbledon finals, yet Venus has won the title four other times and will be defending it this weekend. Non-Wimbledon wise, Serena has won eight Grand Slam titles, while Venus has won a whopping fourteen. Now, let's get off the court... They both have their own clothing lines: Venus (who holds an associate degree in fashion) partnered with clothing chain Steve and Barry's to design EleVen, while Serena (who holds a lucrative contract with Nike) designs and models for her line Aneres Venus also has the company, V Starr Interiors, which designed the set of the Tavis Smiley Show, and Serena has appeared in the TV shows My Wife and Kids, ER, Law and Order: SVU, and a music video for rapper Common—with whom she has been romantically linked. Serena's celebrity life may give her an advantage over her sister, but it is Venus who has played an active role in the campaign for women and men to receive equal prize money at the French Open and Wimbledon. Whichever Williams you place your money on, neither of them will go home empty-handed as the winner will collect almost $1.5 million and the runner-up will receive $750,000.
