Actress Rosario Dawson takes over the women's fashion spring 2009 issue of the New York Times Style magazine--and she looks delectable!
The Seven Pounds star and New York native (she was discovered on a stoop in Manhattan's Lower East Side neighborhood) also opens up in the magazine's revealing "Screen Test" series, where she reflects on The Rocky Horror Picture Show (which left the biggest impression on her), nudity on film and her mother unorthodox way of disciplining her (she licked her face)!
Former 3rd Rock From the Sun star turned indie cutie Joseph Gordon-Levitt partners up with comeback kid Mickey Rourke in the crime thriller Killshot based on the novel by Elmore Leonard.
Rourke and Levitt's onscreen partnership is reminiscent of Russell Crowe and Ben Forster in 3:10 to Yuma; Rourke’s the calm veteran hitman and Levitt’s the young maniac killer in training that never seizes the opportunity given by Rourke to ascend from his amateurish ways. Levitt, an extremely talented actor, has brilliantly played this self-destructive role before (see Mysterious Skin, Stop-Loss), that’s why Blindie’s anticipating Levitt’s upcoming departure role as Cobra Commander in Stephen Sommers' G.I. Joe.
Rosario Dawson plays the supporting role as Levitt’s girlfriend and was very much underused here. Judging from her performance in Seven Pounds, Blindie knows she can bring it.
Mickey Rourke's comeback is definitely not a one hit wonder, look for him in Iron Man 2 and he'll re-team with Rosario Dawson in Sin City 2.
Killshot is yet another exploration in the criminal psychology and competitiveness between men where women are merely glanced at from a peripheral.
Serving as host of NBC's Saturday Night Live, Seven Pounds star Rosario Dawson shined in a hilarious parody of the animated flick, Aladdin.
In the skit, Dawson as Jasmine celebrates her 10-year anniversary with her love Aladdin. Singing a bitter rendition of their hit song, "A Whole New World," Dawson sounds amazing--making Blindie recall her stint as Mimi in Rent. Read More
Blindie can remember when we first got hooked on the Twilight saga, dedicating entire days to reading the four books by author Stephenie Meyer. Now it seems there's another victim to the vampire series: Rosario Dawson!
"I just read the first book, it's ridiculous, it's like crack cocaine. I read it for 10 hours straight until I finished it," Dawson, told People magazine at the Seven Pounds premiere Monday.
"My dad is going to hate me, because I spend zero time with him, reading these books," the 29-year-old beauty added. "It's like Judy Blume and Anne Rice had a child and made this book. I'm so attracted."

Here is the second installment of Blindie's on-going quest to uncover the racial identity of some of Hollywood's multi-racial celebrities.
Wentworth Miller: The Prison Break star played a young Anthony Hopkins trying to hide his African American heritage in 2003's The Human Stain and in real life, Miller's racial make-up reads like a laundry list of races and includes African American, Jamaican, German, Jewish, Lebanese, and Syrian, just to name a few.
Rosario Dawson: the Seven Pounds star has a mother of Puerto Rican and Afro-Cuban background and a father of Irish and Native American heritage.
Taylor Lautner: the teen star plays Quileute tribe member Jacob Black in the vampire flick Twilight and lays claim to French, Dutch and German as well as Native American ancestry in real life.
Zoe Saldana: the Star Trek beauty was born in New Jersey and has a Puerto Rican mother and a Dominican father.
Corbin Bleu: the High School Musical triple threat has a mother of Italian heritage and a father of Jamaican ancestry.
Cash Warren: the Yale University grad is married to Jessica Alba and is the son of the African American actor of the 1980s hit series Hill Street Blues Michael Warren. Read More
Seven Pounds actress Rosario Dawson has a confession to make: she was floored after seeing a girl topless.
But this girl wasn't any girl, she was supermodel Iman of David Bowie fame.
"I did a photo shoot for her, and she suddenly took off her T-shirt to change into another and I was like, 'Damn!'" the 29-year-old actress told Playboy. "She was so beautiful, elegant, classy and timeless, and there was something really exotic about it."
"Very few human beings have been that sexy and desirable," Dawson added. "I wanted to say, 'You are sculpted by God.' I was like, wow." Read More
Rosario Dawson, who is back in the movie business after taking time off for the election, sobbed the first time she read the script for her upcoming film, Seven Pounds, on a flight to Los Angeles.
Playing a woman with a heart condition who falls for Smith's character, Dawson said, "I loved it so much... I'm not a public crier per se, and I'm just sitting on this plane with people... I was a weepy mess."
After seeing the drama (due out this Christmas) at a screening with her costar, Dawson added, "I was sitting there... crying, with a tissue, trying to be cool about it. Will walked out crying and I was like, 'Oh, thank God - not just me.'"
One of Blindie's favorite beauties, actress Rosario Dawson, was director Kevin Smith's first choice for the starring role, opposite Seth Rogen, in Zach and Miri Make a Porno.
But the New York native, who worked with Smith in Clerks 2, dropped out to make the Shia LaBeouf film Eagle Eye, giving W. star Elizabeth Banks a shot at stardom.
Dawson, who is currently taking off this season to get the Latino vote out with her organization VotoLatino, can next be seen opposite Will Smith in Seven Pounds.
La Pasion De La Decision - Episode 5 VotoLatino founder Rosario Dawson has a new PSA starring Wilmer Valderrama, Jane Fonda and Perez Hilton.
In the fifth episode of their telenovela-esque voting series, La Pasion De La Decision, Dawson and Valderrama are married by blogger Hilton, as politically active screen legend Fonda sassily looks on ("I can't believe she wore white!"). Read More
