Oprah Hangs With Jay-Z in Brooklyn and Declares the Rapper is Her ‘New Best Friend’

oprah-jay-z Talk show queen Oprah Winfrey may have been notorious for snubbing rappers on her television show but the mogul was hanging out with Jay-Z in his old hood, Brooklyn's Marcy Projects, on Sunday and apparently loving every minute of it. The media powerhouse called into her best friend Gayle King's radio show on Monday and praised the rapper saying, "Oh, Jay-Z is my new best friend." "He was so charming and delightful, and he smelled so good! And it's that kind of thing where you hug a guy, and the scent is sort of buried in them. When we went to the second location, I could still smell him on me. It was like, 'Oh, this is wonderful.' " Winfrey said her two-hour interview with Hova would be for her magazine O and not for her talk show. "It was really a conversation, and at the end of the day, you feel like you get to know someone," she said. "I feel like I met a new friend. It was really great." Blindie is hoping Oprah is just trying to keep a Jay-Z television special under wraps by throwing everyone off with talk about the magazine. How can you have a two-hour interview with Beyonce's husband, and oh yeah, one of rap's biggest artist, and not air it on your show? Maybe 50 Cent was right when he told the Associated Press, "I think she caters to older white women...So, I could care less about Oprah or her show."

Color on the Cover: Beyoncé Says Marriage to Jay-Z is a ‘Power Struggle’

Fronting the December issue of Elle, Beyoncé Knowles says being married to hip hop mogul Jay-Z is "a power struggle." "But if I didn’t respect someone and they didn’t have that strength, then I would be bored," the 27-year-old beauty told the fashion mag. "I wouldn’t be attracted to them.” And just as long as it took her to nab her beau to wedlock, it seems making mini-mes will take just as long. "I’m terrified of having a child," Knowles said. “No way! I’m terrified of delivering a child because I saw my nephew being born. That traumatized me. I’m only 27. I’ve got time.”

Ludacris Sounds Off On Bush, McCain, Hillary and Jesse

Not to be outdone by rappers Nas and Jay-Z, who have both spoken out recently about Barack Obama and the current political climate, Ludacris is adding his own two cents with his song, "Politics (Obama is Here)." Ludacris, a staunch Obama supporter, uses some politically incorrect verses, skewering not only President Bush and Republican presidential nominee John McCain, but also former Democratic candidate Sen. Hillary Clinton and Rev. Jesse Jackson:

Hillary hated on you, so that b—- is irrelevant. Jesse talking slick and apologizing for what? If you said it then you meant it. How you want it head or gut? McCain don’t belong in any chair unless he’s paralyzed. Yeah I said it cause Bush is mentally handicapped. Ball up all of his speeches and just throw ‘em like candy wrap ’cause what you talking I hear nothing even relevant and you the worst of all 43 presidents.
Ludacris even attempts to rally the black community to support Obama at the polls, urging, "So get off your ass, black people, it’s time to get out and vote! Paint the White House black and I’m sure that’s got ‘em terrified."
