Taylor Lautner talks with Access Hollywood‘s Shaun Robinson about some of the grueling shirtless scenes he had to shoot for New Moon and his rumored girlfriend Selena Gomez at MTV’s Movie Awards on Sunday.
Lautner describes trying to look like “hot” like a werewolf despite being shirtless with nothing but shorts in the midst of a freezing downpour of rain and says the next installation in the “Twilight” series is filled with heartbreak and will “rip your heart to shreds.”
As for his rumored girlfriend, teen star Selena Gomez, with whom he has been photographed hanging out with in Vancouver, Canada, he says, “she’s a great girl, great friend.”
Co-stars, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart walked away with the award for best kiss and teased the audience by almost kissing.
Summit Entertainment has finally released some official art for New Moon–the highly anticipated sequel to the blockbuster romance Twilight (due next November).
In the poster, the love triangle between mortal Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and her best friend werewolf Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) is depicted during vampire Edward Cullen’s (Robert Pattinson) absence from Forks, Washington.
While we know he’s only 16, Blindie is officially crushing on the adorable heartthrob…Watch out RPattz–a new hunk is in town!

Greeted excited Twilighters, Pattinson, Lautner and Stewart signed autographs, posed for pictures and laughed it out at the big premiere event in the capitol city of Tokyo.
Twilight star Kristen Stewart is vamping it up for the March 2009 cover of underground fashion rag NYLON.
While she doesn’t have much to say on Twilight or New Moon (or the recently greenlighted third vampire film Eclipse), the 18-year-old actress, who stars in the new flick Adventureland, does say of her hunky Twilight costar Robert Pattinson:
“Rob and I are good friends. We went through a lot together, so we feel very close. But if we go out in public, every little detail is scrutinized, like the way I stand next to him. And it’s like, I know this guy really fucking well [laughs]. It’s only natural that we’re sort of leaning on each other, because we’re put in the most fucking psychotic situations.”
“I can tell you the original cast will all be coming back,” screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg told People. “They’re on set right now, in Vancouver! They’re all up there prepping the movie to start shooting very soon.”
In addition to being stoked about having the film underway, Rosenberg is praising new director Chris Weitz.
“Chris Weitz directed The Golden Compass, which was a beautiful-looking film,” Rosenberg said. “And I think it’s wonderful we have someone who has worked with CGI animals … that will be a big part of New Moon. I’m delighted we have someone who’s so expert at that.”
She also shoots down reports that High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens will be in New Moon as werewolf Leah Clearwater because Leah doesn’t appear in New Moon, but the third novel Eclipse.
