Promoting a non-Gossip Girl project, the Donnie Darko sequel S. Darko, Ed Westwick (aka Chuck “MotherChucker” Bass) sits down with pop culture mag, Interview, dishing on branching out from Bass with a dream role.
Here are some excerpts from our fave Brit’s chat:
INTERVIEW: What character would you love to play?
WESTWICK: Being from England, and being a lad, I have to say James Bond. It would be wrong of me to say anything else.
INTERVIEW: How about buffing up for an action feature, are you ready for that?
WESTWICK: It’s a good reason to get in shape, I guess, isn’t it? I think it would be exciting to be involved in an epic 300-esque thing.
INTERVIEW: Maybe there’ll be a 301. They could make it a musical.
WESTWICK: I’m sure they could. They’re doing a Broadway musical of American Psycho.
INTERVIEW: You’d be good for that.
WESTWICK: I know, that’s exactly what I was thinking. I had to ring my manager when I heard about it. I’m obsessed with that film.

Chuck & Nate battle over Blair, Serena steals her new beau from a frenemy and Blair’s mission with Chuck brings Georgina back! Here are the TOP 10 moments from Gossip Girl‘s “Southern Gentlemen Prefer Blondes” episode:
1. “You know how much I hate ironic facial hair!” Blair (Leighton Meester) says of the NYU crowd she’s joining in the Fall.
2. Nate (Chace Crawford) tries his darnest to get Blair on the subway so she can visit him uptown at Columbia University from NYU, but she responds: “It’s full of mole men and middle class professionals!”
3. Greeting Blair, Chuck (Ed Westwick) says, “I see you’re wearing your beret…who’re you spying on tonight?”
4. Blair and Chuck unite forces to end Serena’s (Blake Lively) love triangle with southerner Gabriel (guest star Armie Hammer) and socialite Poppy Montgomery (guest star Tamara Feldman)–she also dubs him “North CaroLIEr”! Is Blair’s mission just a means for her to be near Chuck?
5. We know Dove is all about TRUE beauty, but why does Jessica Szohr have a 5 o’clock shadow in those Gossip Girl spots?
6. “Serena didn’t steal me, she swept me away,” Gabriel tells Poppy as he dumps her ass (and all of his company’s investments) for Serena. “I’m really glad you chose me over money!” Serena responds, before her beau reunite
7. Dan (Penn Badgley) and Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) play a confessions drinking game, where V admits to never sleeping with Chuck and Lonely Boy admits to never sleeping with Georgina Sparks (Michelle Trachtenberg).
8. Nate asks Blair to move in with him and she accepts his residential proposal so she doesn’t have to take the subway from NYU.
9. Chuck and Blair bring the “Wicked Witch of the East Side” Georgina Sparks back in their efforts to get to the bottom of Serena’s boooorrring beau, who is, in fact, a conman!
10. Bootcamp rehabilitates Georgina into a born-again Christian, who supervises children making paper mache apostles. But we’re not buying that Georgina’s completely “saved”! If anyone could make a good girl go bad, it’s Chuck Bass!

Passover dinner was never as fun as on Gossip Girl! With Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively) pretending to be together with Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley) and not married to Gabriele (Armie Hammer), and Dan pretending to not be a cater waiter and taking Elijah’s seat at the dinner table, it was the most entertaining Jewish holiday ever.
Here are Blindie’s TOP 10 moments from Gossip Girl’s “Seder Anything” episode:
- We love Blair Waldorf’s (Leighton Meester) cockney accent as she channels Eliza Doolittle in her My Fair Lady dream sequence.
- Still lovin’ that zinger dialogue: Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick) declares “I’m a 17 year-old billionare with incredible stamina,” referring to his sexual prowess; and Dan confesses he’s Eleanor’s “bitch boy” for the night as he caters her Passover dinner.
- Blair strikes a deal with the devil, er, Nate Archibald’s grandfather to convince Nate to go to Yale instead of Columbia. And when she doesn’t deliver, the old man sells her up the river!
- It’s all about the verbal smack down! First, Nate tells off his grandfather for snitching on his corrupt father in front of a roomful of partygoers, then Little Jenny Humphrey (Taylor Momsen) serves up some sharp words as she tells off little orphan Chuck for his womanizing ways.
- Chuck can’t have sex with the same random girl twice?! Really? Who the hell does he think he is? Oh yeah, he’s a 17 year-old billionaire. Carry on!
- “Williamsburg is already over,” the art dealer at Eleanor Waldorf’s seder dinner declares. You heard that hipsters? GG has decreed it and so it is!
- A little remorse goes a long way! Chuck apologizes for nearly raping Jenny last year (it’s about time!) and Blair apologizes for plotting with Nate’s grandfather, snubbing her stepfather Cyrus’ seder dinner and turning her nose up at NYU.
- Just when we thought Vanessa Abrams (Jessica Szohr) was going to be upgraded to Manhattan bitch status she disappears! And where is Dorota? Probably off filming her own spin-off.
- Serena isn’t really married?! What a fake out! We thought she was going to get her first quickie-d.
- Come on people, this is the Upper East Side where Bar Mitzvahs are more common than Communions and these people can’t even get past the third stage of the dinner! And how sacrelig was it when when Dan sat in Elijah’s seat and Serena and Eleanor drank the wine before they even dipped the parsley in the salt water? “Oy gevalt!”

The Humphreys might be resisting the Upper East side lifestyle but it looks like Vanessa Abrams (Jessica Szohr) has signed up for some penthouse scandal as she joins forces and lips with Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick).
Here are Blindie’s TOP 10 moments from Gossip Girl‘s “Remains of the J” episode:
- Dan Humphrey (Penn Bagdley) has been denied financial aid from Yale! Economic crisis indeed!
- Dan reciting the theme song to The Jeffersons as he rides up the elevator on the East side to a deluxe apartment in the sky!
- Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) tries to win Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford) back and Vanessa Abrams and Chuck Bass hook-up out of revenge -yeah, because that always works like charm.
- We live for those little touches of NY authenticity, like famed party photographer Patrick McMullan at Little Jenny’s sweet sixteen party!
- We love when art imitates life! Blair got it on with Carter Basin in last week’s episode and now Chuck and Vanessa are locking lips -and both are real life couples!
- We also love that the Gossip Girl domestics like Blair’s maid and Serena’s doorman are Russian and not the stereotypical Latinos.
- Serena is tired of high school life so she jets off to Spain and OMG, she’s married in the next episode!
- The love child of Lily and Rufus has resurfaced and he’s made contact with Dan!
- Nate is definitely a manwhore! He tells Blair he wants to be with her, “but not like that,” then makes out with her! Make up your mind Nate!
- Vanessa’s storyline has just been upgraded as she beds Chuck! Finally!

There’s finally evidence that Gossip Girl costars Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr are an item!
The two hot stars of The CW were snapped locking lips Monday night at the New York Knicks-Los Angeles Lakers Game at New York’s Madison Square Garden. (Also, direct your attention to Cheech Marin right behind them!)
It was only in November that Westwick and Szohr were first spotted kissing at a Dallas airport.

Backstabbing? Check! Underage drinking? Check! Drugs and hookers? Check, and check! All of the regular Gossip Girl plot points are present. So why did the last scene fizzle into a Brady Bunch moment? We’re starting to suspect the Gossip Girl writers must live in Brooklyn because all of the betrayal seems to happen on Manhattan’s Upper East Side but warm and fuzzy moments are always going down at the Humphrey’s Brooklyn loft. WTF? We love the Serena and Dan thing and even the Rufus and Lily affair, but only if it’s going to cause drama!
Here are Blindie’s top ten moments from Gossip Girl‘s “Gone with the Will” episode:
- Chuck Bass’ (Ed Westwick) father leaves him the majority share of Bass Industries, and Chuck is upset! Huh? What?
- Jenny Humphrey (Taylor Momsen) is totally playing the third wheel hag role and blocking Eric van der Woodsen (Connor Paolo) from getting some alone time with his boyfriend Jonathon. Get your own guy Jenny!
- I can’t believe Dan Humphrey told Vanessa about his father’s love child in a candy store! Well, at least it was Dylan’s candy store. And of course it gets leaked to Gossip Girl -on purpose! Silly Dan, doesn’t he know the walls have ears on the Upper East Side.
- We love how the little Upper East Side girls call Dan a “Brooklyn pig” and accuse Vanessa Abrams (Jessica Szohr) of “failing upwards” because she couldn’t make it work with Dan and she’s now dating Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford).
- We love that Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) has a sign reserving the eclairs for Chuck at his celebratory brunch!
- OMFG!! Are we sure these kids are in high school?!! Chuck is caught by Bass Industry board members sitting behind a desk covered in drugs and two lingerie-clad women perched at his side! And all thanks to the ultimate backstabber Uncle Jack.
- And amidst all of the drama, Lily and Rufus are lounging in bed basking in their afterglow and reminiscing about old rocker days.
- Too bad Chuck chose “cocktails and coquettes” over “business and Blair” because this time Blair is not sticking by his side!
- So Lily and Rufus’ son is not dead? Damn! Everyone’s a liar on this show! Even the adopted parents. EW’s Ausiello was right!
- The Chuck and Jack feud is ON! And our money is on Chuck for the win.

Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello has revealed a few gem spoilers about Gossip Girl‘s Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick) and Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively) in his “Ask Ausiello” column.
“Word around the UES is that Serena will soon share something in common with Anne Hathaway. And garnering Oscar buzz ain’t it,” the TV expert writes on EW.com.
Apparently blogs have been saying that Lily and Rufus’ love child died, but Ausiello coyly says that’s “only half of it.”
Ausiello also adds another twist to the GG storyline saying, “I have a sneaking suspicion that Chuck’s mother is alive.”
Blindie’s theory is: Chuck is the son of Lily and Rufus, and Serena is heir to the royal family of some obscure European country, perhaps even a princess! Boy, will that make Blair jealous!
