African-American ballet dancer Misty Copeland has been steadily capturing the hearts of America since joining the American Ballet Theater company in 2001 and has just been appointed Principal Dancer -a first in the company’s 75-year history. President Barack Obama just might be having his “blackest” week yet as leader of this nation. When we say “black” we mean Black American. First Obama shut down a heckler that interrupted his speech at a White House event honoring LGBT Pride Month on Wednesday, by declaring, “Listen you’re in my house … it’s not respectful,” and then requesting that the person be removed.
