Rihanna Bites Janelle Monae’s Style At Met Costume Gala

rihannajanelle_monae

Rihanna makes her first red carpet appearance since her alleged beat-down and break-up from singer Chris Brown at the Costume Institute Gala at New York’s Metropolitan Musuem.

The Barbadian singer ditched her usual girly-glam dresses and the recent bondage look and wore a black puff-sleeved pant suit by Dolce & Gabbana. While the menswear-inspired outfit looked very empowering, we just can’t help thinking that she totally bit Janelle Monae‘s style.

For the record, Grace Jones is Blindie’s original androgynous sister!

  1. Thanks for the first hand accounts of your own success with this topic. I am close to completing a new blog and have been wanting to think of ways to promote it. Based on your current results I think I most certainly will give it a shot as it looks ideal based on the proven fact that the topic is something men and women list in their passions.

  2. That girl is just fantastic, I mean a lot seems to think she is a fool but that’s just an act, it does require some skills to become one of the most famous people in the world.

um… now we’re worrying about her emotional health? as if for the last several years, it wasn’t perfectly obvious that she was going through issues, before the chris brown thing? whatevs. i find that last comment insincere and moot. also, it seems rihanna emotional/relationship behavior since the “incident” hasn’t changed (nor has brown’s) as they’ve both been seen casually dating several people. but you just keep “hoping” for her. i’m sure she appreciates it.

sincere comment: the andro-tux looks better with the saddle shoes, but grace jones still rocks.
