VH1 reality series muse Tiffany “New York” Pollard is ready to entertain the masses yet again (and set the work Obama has done for our race back centuries) with another reality show: New York Goes to Work, where she’ll take a new job each week a la The Simple Life.
In honor of the Flavor of Love-I Love New York-New York Goes to Hollywood train wreck, Blindie’s paying homage to her most ridiculous moments:
1. Pumpkin Spits on New York on Flavor of Love
During the first season of Flavor of Love, Brooke “Pumpkin” Thompson and New York get into an argument at the elimination, ending with the trashy blonde spitting in New York’s face. She tries to escape post saliva swap, but New York catches her and pushes her to the ground!
2. Flav Dumps New York (Again!)
Once rejected on season one of Flavor of Love finale, New York unexpectedly returns in the second season. But the combative New York is called too “dramatical” by Flav and he chooses bootylicious London “Deelishis” Charles. It ends well though with VH1 giving New York her own show, I Love New York.
3. Tango Dumps New York
After choosing Ninja Turtle-esque Patrick “Tango” Hunter on the first season of I Love New York, Tango flips the script at the reunion show. Telling New York, “I am done with New York. I proposed to Tiffany, but I got New York,” he dumps her on national TV. Season 2 is given the greenlight!
4. New York Chooses Tailor Made
In the second season finale of her dating show, New York surprisingly picks her whipping boy George “Tailor Made” Weisgerber over the explosive meathead Ezra “Buddha” Masters. Although she turns down his proposal on the finale, she accepts his second proposal on the reunion show. Needless to say, they eventually call it quits.
5. New York Tries Acting
VH1 gives New York another chance at reality–this time in her career. Trying her hand at becoming a “real” actress, the reality star goes to Hollywood in pursuit of the ridiculous dream–including filming a cameo as herself on Nip/Tuck!

One of Bravo’s Real Housewives of New York Countess Luann de Lesseps has been dumped via email by her longtime hubby, Alex, the Count de Lesseps.
A close pal told the New York Post of the news broke by the New York Social Diary, “She got wind he was seeing somebody and he didn’t answer her when she called. He finally sent her an e-mail saying he was with an Ethiopian woman in Geneva and he was serious with her.”
On Monday, the New York Social Diary item read:
“[Alex has] taken up with a beautiful Ethiopian beauty who is not only quite a bit younger than he but also quite a bit younger than his wife. In the meantime, the sixty-something count has slimmed down, tanned up and looks years younger, according to friends, which once again raises the age-old question: Ain’t love grand?”
Blindie wants to know who this Ethiopian beauty is?!

One of our fave style and music icons Andre 3000 of Outkast was charged with driving 109 mph in a 65 mph zone in suburban Atlanta early Saturday morning, according to the AP.
The 33-year-old actor-designer-musician posted a $1,200 property bond pending a court date April 29, and said he was going so fast because he missed an exit and had to turn around.
We’re wondering if he was in a rush because of the “Green Light” with John Legend (“I’m ready to go right now….I’m ready to go right now”)….We know, bad pun!

The Obamas have covered hundreds of magazines, but the one publication that has stuck by Barack Obama throughout his political rise is Vogue.
And while we love our President and the saturated coverage surrounding his claim to power, it’s the women behind his White House that we’re really intrigued with.
Here are the Top 5 Vogue features on the stylish and strong women of the Obama administration:
1. Michelle Obama in September 2007: In its first feature on the would-be First Lady, Vogue dubbed the “truth-telling,” outspoken Michelle Obama “The Natural.” Unlike most campaign wives, Michelle didn’t shy away from her independence as a person: “Work is rewarding. I love losing myself in a set of problems that have nothing to do with my husband and children. Once you’ve tasted that, it’s hard to walk away.”
2. Valerie Jarrett in October 2008: As senior adviser to Obama, Jarrett took center stage in Vogue, being dubbed “Barack’s Rock”. The Chicago businesswoman said of the couple: “Barack’s mom was on food stamps for a while…Michelle’s father was a blue-collar worker…And yet Barack and Michelle went to the best schools in the country! And instead of pursuing the corner office at a big law firm, they both devoted their lives to public service!”
3. Jill Biden in November 2008: The mother of three, college professor and dedicated politician’s wife posed with the women of the Biden family. “When I first gave her a hug,” Michelle Obama said of the now-VP’s wife, “I could feel that she was, like, real people. You know? You can sort of tell. She was sweet, down-to-earth and very open and honest, and I liked her right away. And now I just love her to death.”
4. Desiree Rogers in February 2009: Ringing a new era to the White House, the President’s new Social Secretary made headlines for her impeccable taste: “[My purpose] is helping people visualize what the Obama presidency is about, the feelings Americans voted for—inclusion, transparency, embracing people you might never otherwise learn about—and also translating the splendor, that sweetness, that comfort of the White House to everyone.”
5. Michelle Obama in March 2009: The cover read “The First Lady The World’s Been Waiting For” but she rather be called “mom in chief.” But no mom could deny her fashion icon status: “I’m not going to pretend that I don’t care about it. But I also have to be very practical. In the end, someone will always not like what you wear – people just have different tastes.”

The Humphreys might be resisting the Upper East side lifestyle but it looks like Vanessa Abrams (Jessica Szohr) has signed up for some penthouse scandal as she joins forces and lips with Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick).
Here are Blindie’s TOP 10 moments from Gossip Girl‘s “Remains of the J” episode:
- Dan Humphrey (Penn Bagdley) has been denied financial aid from Yale! Economic crisis indeed!
- Dan reciting the theme song to The Jeffersons as he rides up the elevator on the East side to a deluxe apartment in the sky!
- Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) tries to win Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford) back and Vanessa Abrams and Chuck Bass hook-up out of revenge -yeah, because that always works like charm.
- We live for those little touches of NY authenticity, like famed party photographer Patrick McMullan at Little Jenny’s sweet sixteen party!
- We love when art imitates life! Blair got it on with Carter Basin in last week’s episode and now Chuck and Vanessa are locking lips -and both are real life couples!
- We also love that the Gossip Girl domestics like Blair’s maid and Serena’s doorman are Russian and not the stereotypical Latinos.
- Serena is tired of high school life so she jets off to Spain and OMG, she’s married in the next episode!
- The love child of Lily and Rufus has resurfaced and he’s made contact with Dan!
- Nate is definitely a manwhore! He tells Blair he wants to be with her, “but not like that,” then makes out with her! Make up your mind Nate!
- Vanessa’s storyline has just been upgraded as she beds Chuck! Finally!

One of Blindie’s favorite TV series Friday Night Lights is officially coming back for two more 13-episode seasons, E! Online confirms.
Like this season’s arrangement, the next two seasons will first air on DirecTV and later on NBC. Yes, we non-DirecTV peeps will be sad to get the episodes later in the season, but it’s better than being canceled!
“The reality is that to have the opportunity to create something new with [this show] every day is just the greatest gift,” show star Connie Britton (who plays the coach’s wife and school principal) said before the news broke. “It would be great if we had another season.”
The only sad thing is current Dylan High seniors, including Taylor Kitsch’s Riggins, Minka Kelly’s Lyla, Zach Gilford’s Matt Saracen and Adrianne Palicki’s Tyra, are graduating and may be moving on from the show!

Lenny Kravitz plays photograoher as he points the camera lens on a few high profile celebrities, including his daughter Zoe, for the April issue of Vogue Russia.
Kravitz appears on the cover sporting a closely shaven head with arms wrapped around model Carmen Kass and his intimate shots of daughter Zoe Kravitz, singers Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Lionel Richie and rapper Jay-z appear inside.
All criticisms aside, like the odd pairing of Kass and Kravitz, their relevancy to anything current, or even the quality of some of Kravitz photos, we still love it! Because everything is just a little bit sexier when Lenny is involved!
