‘Pretty Pale’ Actress Dakota Fanning Ready to Play Volturi Vampire Jane in New Moon

Dakota Fanning is finally speaking out about her prospective role as Jane in the Twilight sequel New Moon.
Set to play Volturi vampire Jane, a sweet-faced Italian villain, the 14-year-old acting genius is excited to join returning stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.
“It’s so great and I am a really big fan of that series and the first film and all the actors in it,” Fanning, who is currently promoting her action flick Push (where she plays a clairvoyant opposite Chris Evans and Camilla Belle), told Access Hollywood.
“I don’t think they’ll have to put a lot of makeup on me. I’m pretty pale!” Fanning, who turns 15 next month, says of being offered the role without having to audition because New Moon director Chris Weitz was confident in her ability.
