ObamaNation: Indonesian Photographer Ilham Anas Is Newest Obama Impersonator

Move over AlphaCat and Fred Armisen, there’s a new Obama impersonator in town and not only is he a dead ringer for the President-elect but he also coincidentally hails from Indonesia, the same place President-elect Barack Obama spent part of his childhood when his mother remarried.

Photographer Ilham Anas and has been posing as an Obama look-alike ever since photos of him suited up like the ex-Illinois Senator gained popularity on the internet.

“The pictures spread very quickly on the Internet. It was phenomenal. Then TV stations and an advertising agency got in touch with me,” Anas told Reuters.

And if Anas gets a chance to meet with the real Barack Obama he plans to discuss the Israeli-Palestine conflict, but for now he’s fielding TV jobs like this Filipino pharmaceutical commercial.
